Stainless steel Grease Separator

The primary function of the grease separator is to receive and treat wastewater rich in oils and fats from domestic and/or industrial use. This equipment is essential for treating effluents with high fat and oil content, as these substances can interfere with the subsequent treatment processes if not retained.

The presence of these compounds can disrupt physical and/or biological treatment processes and significantly harm the receiving environment, where the final effluent is discharged.

The separation of fats occurs through gravity separation of materials with different densities than water, thus not requiring energy consumption. In the sedimentation zone, heavier materials (sludge, sand, etc.) settle and are retained. As a result, only water and substances lighter than water, including the fats we aim to separate, move to the separation zone.

In the separation zone, fats accumulate on the surface, allowing clean water to exit from the lowest point without mixing.

The main advantages of the Grease Separator are:
•No energy consumption;
•Low costs;
•Ease of installation and maintenance;
•Incorporated pre-sedimentation;
•Protective cover;
•Complete watertightness.
