The Grease (or Flotation) Concentrator is a second-stage pre-treatment equipment developed to remove/separate floatables (fats, plastics, or other floating materials) through scraping and removal of naturally floating materials.
This equipment is mainly composed of two elements:
•Effluent reception tank;
•Surface scraper system.
The effluent to be treated is directed to the effluent reception tank, where floating materials are removed by surface scrapers and directed to the discharge area.
The surface scraper system consists of a POM scraper chain with high corrosion resistance, ensuring a longer service life. The scrapers are height-adjustable and the spare parts are made from EPDM , which ensures low maintenance costs for the system.
