Screening Boxes

Screening boxes are preliminary treatment equipments designed to retain large solids suspended in raw effluent. This equipment is crucial as it prevents these solids from causing sedimentation and/or obstructions in downstream channels, conduits, or other equipment and components.

The boxes are constructed from GRP (Glass-Reinforced Plastic) or 304L/316L stainless steel and feature:
•Complete watertightness;
•High chemical and mechanical resistance;
•Protection of downstream equipment/infrastructure.

Screening baskets are preliminary treatment equipment whose main objective is to retain large solids found in the raw effluent.

The baskets are made from 304L or 316L stainless steel and can be perforated either only at the bottom or on all sides. The effluent passes through these perforations, while the solids are retained.
