Grit Classifier

The grit classifier is a pre-treatment equipment primarily designed to separate grits and heavy sediments from wastewater.

The main advantages of this equipment are:
•Robust construction;
•Low maintenance costs;
•Few wear parts;
•Ease of cleaning.

This equipment consists of several elements, but the main ones are: a screw conveyor that transports the sand deposited at the bottom of the equipment, a welded structure that supports the equipment and a gear motor that powers the screw conveyor.
Regarding construction materials, the body of the unit can be made of 304L or 316L stainless steel, and the screw conveyor can be made of carbon steel, 304L stainless steel, or 316L stainless steel.
