The rotary drum screen is a pre-treatment equipment that performs the screening of the effluent, allowing the retention of solid particles. The equipment consists of a tightly meshed cylinder through which the effluent passes, separating the solid and liquid fractions.

Regarding construction materials, the structure of the equipment can be made of 304L or 316L stainless steel. It is also possible for the rotary drum screen to be equipped with a self-cleaning system and a screw conveyor for removal of solids.
