Combined Pre-Treatment Unit

The combined unit is a pre-treatment equipment that integrates various functions in a compact form. This way, the combined unit can perform the following functions: removal of screenings and sands, or removal of screenings, sands, and fats.

The main advantages of this equipment are:
•Combination of high treatment efficiency with reduced installation space;
•Reduction of odors compared to a conventional treatment plant;
•Low investment and maintenance costs;
•Existence of an integrated manual bypass system, which allows for the resolution of breakdowns and/or maintenance of the equipment.

This equipment consists of several elements, but the main ones are a compactor screen for removal, compaction, and dehydration of solids; a horizontal bottom conveyor screen for sand transportation, complemented by a vertical screen that elevates and discharges the sands; diffusers and a surface scraper that separates, removes, and discharges the fats from the effluent.

Additionally, the combined unit is equipped with an integrated manual bypass system installed in the inlet box, consisting of a manual screen bar.

Regarding the construction materials, the body of the unit can be made of 304L or 316L stainless steel, and the screens can be made of carbon steel, 304L stainless steel, or 316L stainless steel.
